Slate River Systems Inc. (SRSI) is very pleased to welcome JP Shiffer to the position of Senior Project Engineer. JP holds a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M and a Master’s of MIS from the University of Texas at Dallas. With over 20 years’ experience, JP has applied his knowledge of facility layout and design, inventory management, distribution processing, logistics and manufacturing for industry leaders such as Blockbuster, Michaels Stores, Crossmark and most recently the St. Onge Company.“JP brings his industry know-how and expertise to SRSI but more than that, he shares SRSI’s goal for developing optimal solutions while building lasting customer relationships,” notes Chris York, SRSI Co-Founder.
“I am excited about this opportunity to be involved with an emerging material handling integration company. Ben and Chris York are industry veterans, like me, but we all bring something different to the business along with the other SRSI team members,” says JP. He adds, “As a world class team, we will provide best in class services and equipment both domestic and internationally!”
Specialties include: AutoCad, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certified, process mapping, data analysis, root cause analysis, and time and performance standards.
